The history of Faraone: origins and evolution of the company

1969

Sabatino Faraone founded his company in a small space of 80 square meters in Giulianova (TE), with one worker and three apprentices, specializing in the production of aluminum frames for windows and doors.

1973

The company moved to a new facility of 2,000 square meters.

1976

SEVA was born, a new company formed together with the first worker, a surveyor and accountant, with the aim of managing small orders.

1978

Faraone was a pioneer in the production of aluminum ladders for industrial use in Italy. A year later, this business evolved into an independent division called IMA, now known as Faraone Industrie S.p.A., led by Sabatino's brother, Piero Faraone.

1988

The 1980s saw significant growth for the group, culminating in the launch in 1988 of the revolutionary 'SOLARIA' system, a double-skin ventilated façade with exceptional thermal and acoustic properties.

1990s

The group strengthened its aluminum staircase division, continuing to grow exponentially.

2000

Faraone introduced new types of stainless steel precision-fixed façades, introducing a line of innovative, high-quality products.

2004

Faraone's commitment to research and innovation led to the presentation of the first steel and glass staircase at SAIE 2, designed by architect Mauricio Cardenas Laverde, gaining international recognition.

2008

New products with exclusive designs were created, such as stainless steel, aluminum and glass railings and balustrades. Ninfa, the first complete certified all-glass parapet system, was also launched.

2011

Linea is born, the first certified shelter entirely made of glass, with a projection of up to 1.5 m and resistance of up to 300 kg/m².

2016

The Spazio series is born, a new glass partition wall with minimal aluminum profiles, complete with accessories and semi-finished doors.

2017

Following the success of the Spazio system, new glass and aluminum door systems are developed: Velo, Velo 2, Velo Compact and Velo Alu.

2018

The family of entirely glass parapets expands with the launch of Ninfa 5, the fifth generation, with even more efficient and safe systems.

2019

Faraone celebrates its 50th anniversary, an important milestone that symbolizes strength, tenacity and passion for work.

2020

Introduction of the Faraone Campus, an ambitious training project for designers, glassmakers, window and door manufacturers and industry professionals.

2021

The sixth series of the NINFA collection is unveiled, with the NINFA 106 model, a minimalist, high-performance glass railing.

2022

Faraone presents Giulietta, the first French glass balcony made in Italy, certified according to national standards.
